The non-refundable deposit of 50% of the retreat package is due at time of booking. The remaining non-refundable balance will be charged 30 days later.
On rare occasions, due to unforeseen circumstances, we may need to cancel a retreat. We will notify applicants of cancellation a minimum of 7 days in advance of the retreat start date and will offer a full refund and the option to attend a future retreat. We highly recommend investigating travel insurance with appropriate coverage for ultimate flexibility. Neither Mountain Lodge nor Fitlandia will not reimburse for travel expenses.
We will be serving up a menu perfect for detoxing. Think of this as an enhanced paleo-style diet void of: all sugar, gluten, grains, alcohol, legumes, soy, and dairy. We also drastically reduce fruit sugars. Don’t worry, you’ll see how deliciously we eat without these common inflammatory items. You’ll learn how to improve your sleep, energy, mood, digestion/gut health, and productivity through this dietary style.
Our chef will make available vegetarian meals for those requesting it in advance.
The closest airport is Montrose Regional Airport MTJ (approx. 90-minutes from the lodge) and we provide airport transfers to/from the hotel. We’ll arrange pickup for you (see what happens after I book) – and will send you a copy of the confirmation to your email. Once on property you can take advantage of the free gondola system between Mountain Village and Telluride, as well as our hotel shuttle. Should you wish to fly into other airports, you will be responsible for your own car rental (parking at the lodge is included) or airport transfers. Telluride Express provides services to/from Durango, CO and Grand Junction, CO. Denver is a beautiful 6.5 hour drive should you decide to rent from there. Please be warned driving conditions can vary this time of year with snow not being uncommon.
No tech is allowed during workshops, meals, nor in the Serenity Cabin. We HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you to completely remove tech during your entire stay (we explain why during our first night together). The hotel team will be available to take emergency phone calls so you can be reached without worry. We will provide an assortment of books and spa music to enjoy in the Serenity Cabin each night. Bring a fresh journal to log your adventure.
The Mountain Lodge is extending special discounts (up to 30% off) for those who wish to stay beyond April 4th. Please note: the gondola closes for the season on 4/7. Early arrivals will be at the prevailing hotel rate and based upon availability. Please note, a room change may be required for stays before or after the retreat dates. The beauty of the region is that weather can change drastically this time of year. The average high is around 45 degrees with an average low of 22 degrees. Layers are smart! Waterproof boots are also a must – especially if you’re a VIP and are going on the guided snow shoe tour. We’re praying for snow to still be in the region for those who love to hit the slopes so bring your gear or rent ski equipment at a discount at the hotel (addt’l fee). The terrain here is epic. This retreat is open to women and men alike. Shared accommodations will be gender specific. Fitlandia is proud of our inclusive values and we welcome all adults 18 and older who are in general good health to attend. Since we are at higher elevations in Telluride (8K+ feet), please ensure you discuss any concerns with your physician.
Once you've booked your retreat - GET EXCITED! Now it's time to book your flight into Montrose Regional Airport. You're welcome to select other airports that better suit your schedule or budget, but please know we only provide ground transfers from Montrose Regional Airport (or parking should you decide to drive from another location).
You'll receive an intake form to complete by 3/7/19 so that we can ensure you have an amazing stay and can arrange your transfers for you.

"I have battled with yoyo diets all my life and am a certified chocoholic (in recovery!), but following Fitlandia's eating plan and detox (which is by no means as restrictive as it sounds) has turned my eating habits around.
